    I tried to run the DTS wizard and received the following error message.

    Need to run the object to perform this operation: [SQL-DMO]Code executive Execption: Exception_Access-Violation. In adivse or help on how to solve.

    It sounds like your installation is not correct. Has this ever worked? If so, what has changed on your machine?

    Thanks for your speedy response. The only change I can think of is the database was created using SQL 7.0, and the DTS was performed using SQL 2000. However, I had just completed a move of the same type minutes before.
