I have a self extracting file cliv2_windows_x8664.04.08.02.03.exe and i need to extract in command line in silent mode.
I issued the following command winzip32 -min -e -o cliv2_windows_x8664.04.08.02.03.exe c:/mytemp
and I get a pop up saying To create self extracting archive use the Actions "Make Exe" menu entry.
and the "Make Exe" option in the Action menu is not active.
Can some one please help me how to resolve this.
Thanks,
Sowmya.

I got what the issue was.
It was the with the path name specified where the extracted files would go.
I was giving c:/mytemp where as the right one was c:\mytemp
I changed this and it worked 🙂
Thanks,
Sowmya.

32 bit programs should not, in general, have issues on x64 if they run standalone (not drivers). Glad that wasn't an issue here. Thanks for the update.
