Can somebody tell me which hotfixes need to be applied to upgrade my SP3a instance to version 878. I currently have SP3a version 818.
I have looked at the following table:
http://www.sqlsecurity.com/FAQs/SQLServerVersionDatabase/tabid/63/Default.aspx
but when I click on GO next to each hotfix after 818 they don't appear to have a download from Microsoft associated with them.
Does anybody know which hotfixes I need to run between hotfix 818 and 878 ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Why are you simply applying hotfixes and not moving to SP4? Do you have a specific issue going on?

I have tried to get the business to buy into moving to SP4 but as the server needs rebuilding in a hurry they want to keep the Service Pack level the same as the production server.

The hotfixes have been replaced by Service Pack 4. If you want both servers at the same level, it would be best to upgrade both to current service pack and hotfixes, then keep them up to date.

I am aware of SP4 it's just that the business won't buy into building the new server with SP4 on, as it needs building ASAP. Whilst we have the test environment I have said it would be better to move to SP4 and test than stay as we are with SP3a build 878 and stay well out of date with our patching, but it's falling on deaf ears.

I have already downloaded and installed that cumulative hotfix. That is Hotfix 818. I need to get to 878.
As I could not get a difinitive answer I have just downloaded and installed Hotfix 818, 819 and 878 to get me to patch level 878.

Sorry, when I reread what you wanted to do, 818 jumped out at me. Looks like you're good to go! Good luck with getting them to agree to SP4. Also, be aware there is a fix for SP4 if you're using AWE.

Thanks for your help Terry.
I am aware of the SP4 AWE fix.
From posting to other Forums it seems that not you are not required to run ALL Hotfixes between Service Packs, apart from Security updates.
