Does anyone know if there are hard limits on replication, such as number of publishers, subscribers, concurrent replication processes, etc?

It varies based on load for publications, have not seen any limits. The default settings for replication via the sql agent do have some limits for concurrent processes, can be altered via a registry setting. We ran into some problems a couple years ago when we hit 50 or so replicated dbs (dont remember hardware config), ended up building a process to run one log reader at a time. In hindsight the right way to go since we now replicate 250 or so. If you run a lot at once you get deadlocking in distribution db, each one uses memory, etc. As far as publishers or subscribers I dont think so.
