There are so many people that I see once a year at the PASS Summit, and I saw a few last night, but today I really began running into more people from years past. The Summit is an annual trip for many DBAs that are professionals outside of their normal job, with speaking and writing engagements and this is a combination of work and a perk for them.
It's always good to say hi, shake a few hands, and spend a few minutes catching up with these people, some of whom I correspond with, but some that I just rarely see.
Looking forward to the party tonight, heading out to purchase some last minute gifts.
