James Serra's Blog

James is a big data and data warehousing technology specialist at Microsoft. He is a thought leader in the use and application of Big Data technologies, including MPP solutions involving hybrid technologies of relational data, Hadoop, and private and public cloud. Previously he was an independent consultant working as a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence architect and developer. He is a prior SQL Server MVP with over 30 years of IT experience. SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit

The SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit has been updated with a bunch of new content (download it here).  This update includes eleven new hands-on labs covering Integration Services, the Semantic Model and Power View.  Roger Doherty posted a complete list of the content available in the training kit including what’s new or updated.  Check it out at New SQL Server 2012 Labs and Presentations Available.

In all there are 25 labs, demos, and presentations.  It’s a great way to learn about SQL Server 2012.
