SQL Saturday #191 Kansas City was Great

This past weekend I presented a preview of my SQL PASS Summit spotlight session entitled “Squeezing Top Performance From Your Virtualized SQL Server” to a great crowd of attendees. Your questions were great, and I’m very grateful for the wonderful comments and feedback. This SQL Saturday is always one of my favorites of the year. The event venue at Cerner Corporation, a riverfront location that was a former casino, was awesomely different and a perfect location for this event.

Packed session with @kleegeek at #sqlsatKC #sqlpass virtualization and SQL Server

Thanks @wendy_dance for the great photo!

The slides from the session are available for you to download here. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you attendees, volunteers, and especially the coordinators of the event. You all did a fantastic job with this event, just as you do every year. Oklahoma Joe’s was also a perfect match for lunch! The speaker supper was also wonderful, and the location at The Big Rip Brewing Company was a lot of fun. I look forward to next year!

sqlsat190_speakingThe next stop for me is SQL Saturday Denver in two weeks! Denver is one of my favorite cities in this country, and I cannot wait to get there! I am presenting a brand new presentation entitled “Virtualizing Your Critical SQL Servers“. I’ll see you all there!
