I took a quick break at 5:30 to drop off my bag at the hotel and head back to attend the Opening Night party. This was maybe the best I’ve seen, mostly because there was room to go outside and still be ‘in’ the party. Weather in Charlotte very very nice at that time of day.

From there I went to Strike City for the Volunteer Party. It’s a bowling alley, so it was bowling alley food, but the service was fast. Lots of interesting people to talk to, but by 10 I was ready for quiet and enjoyed a nice walk back to the hotel.

Pretty good day.
