I am a pretty frequent traveler, as you would imagine. Running a consulting company, and being on it's principals assets keeps me pretty busy. I have always been a delta guy, but lately the price of airline tickets has gone up dramatically and I have begun to check out other options. I travel from Florida to California quite often and being over 6'6" coach is not a great options, so the options are limited In the discount airline sector for a first class ticket. Until I came across Airtran.
Their business class seats are more comfortable than Delta's First class seats and if you check them out on SeatGuru. Com, they are larger. For a similar cost point, I get more comfort and legroom and the only thing I give up is the TV in my armrest. So I bring my Netflix with me 🙂 !
The other nice thing is that you can cancel that ticket up to an hour prior to takeoff with a full refund. I had to take advantage of this recently when I became ill before a trip. They made it so easy. Compliments to Airtran on great service.
