Good choice of article.
I was lucky enough to attend Brad's Optimization of maintenance plans session at SQLBits IV last month, he seems a really nice guy.
If you have not read his ebook How to be an Exceptional DBA I would definitely recommend reading it. I hope to finish it tonight, can't wait for the second edition!
