SQL Server 2005 SP3 is quite good enough on some of the bugs in SQL 2005.

This could also be due to the fact the log file drive for the SQL Agnet was changed. To fix the issue change the registry to point to the new log file location for the SQL Agnet.

SQL Server 2005 SP3

It just isn't available yet!

I can already hear you saying "But it must be coming any day now, right?"

Wrong

There are no current plans for releasing a new service pack for the very simple reason not enough people are asking for it.

So click on this link and vote for another SQL Server service pack! (and rate it also..!!)

This thread is more than two years old...I'm sure the people who posted in it have probably figured out by now that SP3 is available, especially since that's been the case for more than a year and a half!
