Hi all, in order to minimize maintenance windows, we would like to install SP4 for SQL 2008 and then the most recent security update (MS15-058). Normally, we install a service pack or cumulative update on the passive node, get a maintenance window, and failover. However, this time, we'd like to install one after the other, and then failover.
Is this good practice or would you recommend taking our time with this, for a second window?
