  • Oh come on. False????

In the spirit of the day the answer should be True !!!

  • The other idea about releasing a SQL Server with an integrated OS shuld be real. It would work, Oracle has already done this, and it would get SQL Server into places that refuse to take it now.

  • Sweet, an easy 5 points! Does anyone believe M$ is going to do this anytime soon? It would be nice to have but with the cash register constantly chiming for them, it's not going to happen in the near future.

Totally agree... I demand a recount:)

Especially if you've been listening to the new Ballmer speeches.

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

  • For April Folls day I thought the answer would be True. Or at least get points for both answers.

  • 1...2...3...4... enough recounting.

I'll add points back to the True's later :). The system doesn't allow "either or" answers. If I ticked both, both would be required.

    Happy April Fool's!

  • After falling for the Featured article "The New SQL OS", I fully expected that the Question of the Day, in the same e-mail and given its obviously preposterous nature would also be an April fool.

    5 easy points.

  • you had me going for a few seconds. When I read the question I started to think about the source code that Microsoft let out a few months back to allow for the competition to understand more of how some things are done. Then I remembered what day it was.

    Thanks for the wake up!

    Er...

What happens if someone tries to answer the same question several times. Do they snatch 5 extra bragging points each time?

  • you can't answer more than once 🙂

  • I did not even bother to try...

  • In latinoameria and España, we have the "inocent's day " ("Dia de los Inocentes" or "Día de los Santos Inocentes" acordint tho the country)

the day is similar to your "April fools day" (jokes).

    the date is 28/12.

In Québec, Canada, the word "innocent" means, in addition to standard French "not guilty", in our version of slang it means someone not very bright.
