Speaking as someone who has done this quite a few times I want to congratulate you on a job well done.

As we all know it's either going to work 1st/2nd time, or be a complete nightmare, and fortunately this one seems to have gone great for you.

As it happens i'm upgrading our main production DB (> 3 TB) from 2000 to SQL 2005 on Friday, something that i'm only half looking forward to .  I'm always more concerned when the testing goes well and the potential pitfalls are flagged up early on, which is why i'm expecting other issues that we havent considered

Mike

I'll add my own 'nicely done' - I dont think there is any such thing as a simple migration!

Steve,

Congratulations on the successful migration. Dan H seems to be a lot calmer and has started smiling again

Congrats on the successful migration. However, since the migration, I haven't been receiving my daily newsletter. Did this service stop?
