I have the developer edition of SQL 2014 and am having problem configuring MDS.
Here are the steps I took.
Installed DQS - Checked sql DQS_Main,_Projects and staging data all there.
1. Started Master Data Configuration Manager
2. Selected Web Configuration
3. Selected Default Web Site
4. Create Application
Virtual path: = /(root application)
Application Pool = MDS Application Pool
User name = (my laptop login)
Password = (my laptop login password)
5. Select database
