I have the developer edition of SQL 2014 and am having problem configuring MDS.
Here are the steps I took.
Installed DQS - Checked sql DQS_Main,_Projects and staging data all there.
1. Started Master Data Configuration Manager
2. Selected Web Configuration
3. Selected New Web Site
ip address = All Unassigned
Port = 8080
Application Pool = MDS Application Pool 1
User name = (my laptop login)
Password = (my laptop login password)
Confirm = (my laptop login password)
4. Select database
Server Instance = The name of my sql server
Authentication Type = Current User-Integrated security (user name greyed out)
Master Services Database = MDS
5. Enable integration with Data Quality Service
The apply button is not enabled.
