Hi All,
I have an SQL Server 2005 instance where an alert has been set up for the counter "Processes blocked".
Alert is triggered when the counter becomes "1" and we receive emails regulerly as well.
Type - SQL Server performance condition alert
Object - SQL Server:General Statistics
Counter - Process Blocked
My doubt is that I dont understand how long a process needs to be blocked to get this alert triggered.
When checked "config_value" for "blocked process threshold (s)" is 0.
Can someone please help with this ?
