In the near future, I may be responsible for implementing a DB back-end for an application which stores documents, videos, images, and other such BLOB data. Potentially, this will be done in Filestream. My question is, is it possible to restrict the types / sizes of files on the SQL side, or would such logic have to be implemented at the application?
From some quick Googleing, it looks like it would need to be on the app side of the fence, but I'd like to confirm...
