Thanks Robert, coming from yourself I feel reassured. But at the very least it is misleading, MCM SQL 2008 is top of the list of those that require the recertification. Also the page with all the old conditions for upgrade and the reading list has gone.

MCM (or what it's being converted into the MCSM) does need recertifiying every 3 years or so, SQL one included. I haven't heard a definitive answer to what will be required for the SQL recert, not sure if it's been fully decided
