Hi, we have an established data warehouse facility on SQL Server. One of the business applications runs Oracle and the business would like this data available on the warehouse
I have created SSIS packages that read individual tables from Oracle and write them to SQL Server each day, but for this exercise it would be more beneficial if we can replicate what we do with line-of-business application running on SQL Server
That is we restore the operational databases on the warehouse server alongside a database on which all the objects used for reporting and analytics are created
Has anyone experience of or knowledge in restoring Oracle databases on SQL Server?
