Missing Index

  • Good Day,

I ran a report on one of the SQL Server 2008R2 databases which identified an index as missing . I looked in the database and the index exists . The statistics are being kept up to date automatically . Is there any reason why SQL Server would keep on identifying this index as being missing ?

    Thanks in advance .

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
