I am using SQL Server 2008 Express (free) edition on a WORKGROUP of two computers
The SQL reports are working fine on the machine on which it is installed.
But when I try to access any SQL report from another machine by typing URL it gives user authentication error.
The same problem I faced earlier on a DOMAIN. But when I added all the users in the properties->securtiy->new role assignment of that sql sever reporting & it worked fine.
But I don't know how to achieve this on a WORKGROUP of computers.
More Importantly how reports can be viewable which are hosted on a public website. Are they not facing the same user security problems since in that case user can access reports from anywhere.
