  I am running SQL Server 2005 on a 64 bit Itanium Server, suddenly from yesterday when I open any Stored Procedures, the MMC just vanishes and the event log says Hanging Application SQLwb.exe I have applied the Service Pack 2 successfully and it is uptodate.

  Any help will be highly appreciated.

  I am posting this for anyone else who are facing the same issue.

  I raised this issue and find out the answer for this problem

  Applying this hotfix fixed the issue.
