  Hai,

  I created Active Directory in my pc. I want to register Analysis server to Active Directory. Can any one please tell what is the procedure for that one. How to retrieve login information from Active Directory using MDX Queries.

  I don't get to understand your scenario. Are you running SSAS and AD in the same PC? Regarding to retrieve the Login Information from AD you need LDAP not MDX. A possible solution for this issue is creating a linked server using the Directory Services OLEDB in your SQL Server, then retrieve the login information from your AD by using a LDAP query and store the results in a table that you should add to your cube.

  Hi,

  thanks for ur help. iam using both SSAS and AD in the same pc. what kind query i have to use to retrive login information from AD using SQL Analysis service 2005??
