Last chance for a day of free SQL Server training at SQL in the City 2012

By Press Release, (first published: 2012/10/25)

SQL Server developers and database administrators have one last chance for a full day of free training and networking at SQL in the City 2012.

This year’s final event takes place on November 5th in Seattle, the last stop in a six-city tour of the US. It will provide a full day of SQL Server training sessions, product demos, and networking for 300 attendees.

Speakers include top presenters and SQL Server MVPs such as Steve Jones, Grant Fritchey, Brent Ozar, and Gail Shaw, as well as local SQL Server personalities.

They will present on subjects from ‘Database Maintenance Essentials’, to cutting-edge topics like ‘Architecting Hybrid Data systems with SQL Server and Windows Azure’. A full event agenda, including a list of speakers and their talks, is available on the SQL in the City Seattle 2012 website.

More than 1400 SQL Server professionals have already attended this year’s events, which have proved a big hit, with 99% of respondents saying that they would attend SQL in the City 2013.

To register for the Seattle event, visit the SQL in the City Seattle 2012 website. A highlights reel from SQL in the City London 2012 is also available for those who want to see what’s in store.

SQL in the City, which began in 2011, is run by Red Gate Software. It has been held nine times in locations across the US and England. For more information, visit http://sqlinthecity.red-gate.com/.
