SQL Bits

SQLBits is the UK’s FREE SQL Server conference, and with over 370 attendees at the last event it’s now Europe’s largest SQL Server conference too! SQLBits V will be taking place on November 19th-21st at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales, and registrations are now open. For full details on what’s planned, see:

http://www.sqlbits.com/

This time around SQLBits will be a three-day event. On Thursday November 19th we are running a number of full-day pre-conference seminars, including one from Donald Farmer on Gemini and Self-Service BI. For a full list see:

On Friday November 20th we have a pay-to-attend conference day devoted to SQL 2008 and R2, where top SQL Server speakers will be presenting on topics such as Madison, Gemini, StreamInsight, Master Data Services and Report Builder 3.0:

Last of all, on Saturday November 21st we have the main SQLBits community conference day. This event is 100% free to attend, and will feature at least four tracks with five sessions each covering all aspects of SQL Server from including DBA, development and BI. Session submissions have now closed and voting is open so attendees can decide which sessions they’d like to see; you can get a taste of what sessions have been submitted here:
