Hi I'd just like to get confirmation on the requirements to connect Excel 2010 (pivot tables) to Sql server 2008 Analysis server cubes. As far as I can tell it'll typically be MS OLEDB Driver 10 and MSXML6. That's what it was with Excel 2003 (with OleDB Driver 9). Am I correct in that this would be the same Excel 2010 as well? Another post was making reference of just needing to install the Sql Server 2008 Client Access components, but would that install everything that's required?

I don't know, but I'm very interested in the answer as well.
Are you using plain Excel 2010, or PowerPivot for Excel 2010?

Yep, same as for 2003 but you do need the 10 versus the 9 version as you noted. I think 6 SP1 is the latest XML release, but both/all are available on the download page for the Feature Pack (for R2).
Not sure on the client access components, is this on the DVD/installer? You would assume that this would install everything required.
