Adding a detail row when none exist

I initially thought I would not need detail rows in my VS 2008 BIDS report, and deleted them while keeping the group I needed. Now I realize that I do in fact need a detail row. However, no matter how many right clicks I do, I can't find one that will allow me to insert a detail row. I guess I could start over, but I have done so much work, and it would be nice to know for the future.

To recap, I deleted all my detail rows, and now that I need one, I can't find how to add one in again.

Help???? w00t

I m also expiriencing the same problem(inserting Details on VSS2008 BI) it seems as it has limited properties.and Also grouping are not user friendly like previous virsions

Thank you for your answer, however, in VS 2008 there is no layout tab. Only design and preview.
I would assume that the add detail row is somewhere, but I just can't find it.

Select any of the rows in the table, right click and then click on the detail rows option.

Ok, I did that, and there is no detail rows option in the list.

can you not just use the undo button, to take you back a step(s)?

Like I said, I realized I needed the detail row later in the development. Besides, I had saved the project many times, and exited VS a few times since I deleted the detail row.

In the design screen, on your table click at the table head or group to highlight that row, right click and details will be in the second section and slightly greyed out. Just click it and your details row will be restored.

Right clicking after selecting the top row gives me the following choices :

Insert Row
Delete Rows
------------
Add Group
Row Group
Row Visibility
------------
Tablix Properties

Nothing regarding detail rows.

Permissions
