I'd bring something to take notes. Power can be hard to come by, and unless you are blogging or reporting on it, I think getting notes, and then ensuring you get the slide downloads from presenters will be enough.

Ray,
I expect to join the same train in Hudson (First stop south of Rensselaer). Is there a way to contact you offline?

Dan:
I'll send you a PM with my contact info.
If you want to look for me on the train, I'm a heavyset Asian-American guy with a mustache and a goatee. And to make me even easier to spot, I'll also make it a point to wear a NY Yankees baseball cap.
BTW, my wife works in Hudson!

I attended the SQL Saturday last month in Philadelphia and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was extremely worthwhile attending, even though most of the sessions were too advanced for me. I picked out the few sessions that were on the beginner level & very beneficial. Perhaps the best part of the day is meeting & networking with other SQL developers & administrators. I was disappointed there was no after event dinner, though.
I plan to attend the upcoming SQL Saturday in Richmond.
Alan

Hey Mike, quick question . . .
Just for my own planning purposes: I didn't see anything about a post-event reception. Can I safely assume that there isn't going to be one?
I just wanted to make sure before I contacted my brother/friends in the City to ask if they were interested in hooking up for dinner that night!
Thanks!

You'll have to check with the folks over at njsql (njsql.org). They're the keepers of the schedule.

Had a GREAT time at SQL Saturday #39! Met a lot of great people, and got some good information about the sessions!
Looking forward to the next one!

Glad you enjoyed it. Sounded like a great event from the tweets.
