Hi friends,

My problem is that, i want to apply some hot fixes on my sql server 2005. Now i would like to take the images of the server, before applying hotfixes.
Bcoz if any problem will come after applid the patches i can be easily come to back of the preious condition.
So, anybody can tell me how i can do this? Is there any way in sql server for creating the restore points or any other thing.
Pls if possible then give me some detail, how i can do this?

Thanks in advance.
Regrds,
M.I.

We dont take entire disk's image. Instead, we backup all system databases including resource database and user databases. If we need to revert back, we'll use these backups to revert back to original state.
