SQL Server 2005 SP2 Database RecoveryModel Simple. There occours a daily problem with insert records with very slow performance. 1 Record insert takes until 3 sec. this happens only between 03.00 - 04.00 in the nigth
Rest of the time we had no problems with the insert statments. I found no error entries in the log at this time ...

Check what jobs are running at that time.

i changed today the backup jobs to an other time it was 1 Database transaction log backup at this time. hoppefully this will help.
