HI EVERYONE,
WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL SQL SERVER EXPRESS EDITION, THE REPORTING SERVICES FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE WHILE INSTALLING. i TRIED INSTALLING SQL ADVANCE SERIES 2,3 BUT STILL REPORTING SERVICES IS NOT AVAILABLE WHILE INSTALLING.
I HAVE WINDOWS xp PROFEESIONAL SERVICE PACK2 AND IIS 6.0. I HAVE ALSO INSTALLED VS 2005.
CAN SOME ONE CAN PLEASE HELP ME IN FIXING THIS ISSUE.

You don't have IIS6 because IIS6 only comes with Windows 2003 so you are running IIS5 but that is not the issue. You need to remove existing SQL Server Express installed and then install the Express Advanced Toolkit edition with SP3. Check the link below and download the file to your C drive and run setup from your C drive.

Hi Peddie,
Thank you for your reply. I am sorry it was mistake that i meant it to be IIS 5.0. OK, I tried uninstalling the existing sql server 2005 express edition but still i have the same problem while installing SP 3. I even tried formatting the entire operating system, but no luck. I am stuck with this for couple of days now.

You need to make sure IIS is installed because if you are not getting reporting services in 2005 it is related to IIS because it is IIS dependent.
Microsoft have covered how to manually remove SQL Server 2005 in the link below use it to clean up your uninstall. Then you need to download all the files to your c drive which will take at a few minutes, then run setup from your C drive.
