Hi,
Can we give a different database name while restoring a backup file in SQL 6.0.
can somebody tell me the procedure for restoring a database in SQL 6.0?

Wow 6.0 is really old. I'd expect that you'd at least have v6.5. There were issues with 6.0 and it was only sold for about 6 mos.
Right click databases in EM, select restore, give a new name, pick file, don't think this has changed much since v6.0.
