You could SELECT the contents to another local table variable, and modify that. But you cant make a table variable an OUTPUT parameter - there's no point really as they're READONLY

Ermm .. you caught me out there - as a Brit I have no idea what Thanksgiving is - did it ever have a Christian church trying to ban it or rename it or take it over - if so then it probably was pagan originally.

Ermm .. you caught me out there - as a Brit I have no idea what Thanksgiving is - did it ever have a Christian church trying to ban it or rename it or take it over - if so then it probably was pagan originally. 
Think Pilgrims - Mayflower - looking for a place to practice their religion (but not allowing others to practice theirs!) - and giving thanks to God for getting through the first brutal winter in a foreign land (only 5 adult women survived the first winter).
