Thanks for the script Jorge; it's timely for us as we're going thru the very issue now of large transaction logs. For us, setting the access mode to single user while leaving the recovery mode in full did not work. We get: "Cannot shrink log file 2 (Logfile) because all logical log files are in use." We'll do as is in this script, set recovery mode to simple and shrink the log. We don't need the ability to restore to point of failure on this DB anyway.
