Hello

My retail environment has very large cubes and we are working on a strategy to improve the overall processing time of changes.

We will need a method of automatically processing the cubes and dimensions. An idea would be to have a DB table which contains a list of the objects. We would then be able to select from that list and the relevant object would be processed. Also any relationships which exist, for example partitions within cubes would have to be considered.

We don’t want to use SSIS and if possible use ASCMD to process the objects.

Has anyone done something similar in their environment before?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
