    Hello,

    can any tell how to take backup in the file/filegroups

    please write code for database or table backup

    This is easy enough to look up in bol so try to do a little reading next time.

    Here's what I got out of bol...

    BACKUP DATABASE Sales

    FILEGROUP = 'SalesGroup1',

    FILEGROUP = 'SalesGroup2'

    TO DISK = 'Z:\SQLServerBackups\SalesFiles.bck'
