Hi,

I am getting this error when I am trying to update a column from a table which has a unique non clustered index on it.

After going through the Microsoft website I found that the fix for this problem is 'obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000'.

But I have a question , we will be upgrading the servers to 2005 and wanted to know whether this issue will be resolved automatically when the same query is run on the new 2005 box.

I spent months trying to solve a synchronization problem.

I searched everywhere and spent so many hours trying to fix it

He had the solution in minutes
