Poor explanation of the answer, the author just assumed that FEB is = FEBRUARY and also the DOB = DOJ.

DOB???
Not a good question.
By the way DATENAME(datepart, date) returns 'February' when datepart is month and month(date) is 2...
so the second one is right.
