- SQL Server 2000 running on one host which houses 44 user databases.
- Moving to a two node active/active cluster setup.
How does one determine the specific databases that need to end up on VirtualServerA vs VirtualServerB (active/active) based on resource consumption of each database as they presently sit? How can one accurately record the CPU, memory and I/O consumption of each database in order to determine which database will end up on each virtual node in order to evenly distribute the load?
