    Computer: xxx

    any thoughts?

    cheers

  • The SQL logs contain the same data:

BackupVirtualDeviceSet::Initialize: Open failure on backup device 'dantz_retrospect_vd_MarketDomainData'. Operating system error 0x80070002(The system cannot find the file specified.).

  • The device points to a path that actually does not exist. Check if the path that it points exist in the drive. Its better to backup to device if you are sure if that exist else backup to disk in a known path.

  • Patrick -

See http://www.emcinsignia.com, it sounds like you're running the SQL Server add on (http://www.emcinsignia.com/products/smb/retroforwin/addons/) and something is wrong with the agent.
