  • We are getting the same error on SQL 2005, Windows Server 2003, x64.

    Installing NW 2004 DB Instance.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • Have you run "master..xp_logininfo" yet?

    If so, what's the output?

  • Hi,

What is your Operating System...? Is It Windows server...? If yes....what is the server roles..? A Domain controller...? If yes then we end up having this issue? We need to set install on stand-alone while you are setting up SAP. And also make sure you log off (as part of SAP NW installation procedure). Incase you have any doubts / need clarifications....feel free to write to me at muralidharvr@gmail.com

  • How did you solve this?

    I have the same problem!!

    tks,

    Nivia

  • To all who have added to this post asking for assistance, please see my previous post. In order to help you, we need more information on what you have and haven't done to resolve the issue.

Also, please re-read the error. It specifically says to run master..xp_logininfo. If you have not, please run it and post the output. Without that information, we can't help you resolve the problem.

Also, apparently Rakshith knows something about SAP installs. Check the advice he posted and respond to his questions.

    Thanks,
