Hello, I have an existing production cube, that was deployed after a dimension was added. Now the months data only loads jan16 - Jun16. It seems to be stuck this way, no matter how I flag variables of partitions to create, delete or full process, it will not load past jun16, and error complaining about a query pulling Jul16 data.
It's believed that this model that was deployed was pulled from production to modify in Jun16, and also originally deployed then, and now reused. And all the code in that solution is copied to the tabular model including calculations, tables, partitions and security groups, namely that partition data, in this case, partitions that stop at jun16. It's also thought that this is somehow made the data 'stuck' in there, and why the SSIS package that goes to load the Jul16 partition of data, bombs.
Is there a way I can clean, or clear this old former data loads, thus, partitions data data out of this cube? Or do I need to create a copy of that solution?
BTW, I have created a new cube model off the old one, and processed it, and it's only loading up to jun16, it seems to have the same stuck data and partition issue. How can i clear it from the model so it can process/reprocess all the data, in this case jan16 - nov16 to date.
