I am migrating a SSIS package that take a csv file and loads it into the database. The package works fine on SQL Server 2005 but when I run the same package on SQL Server 2014 it fails with an error message "The column delimiter for column "Column 18" was not found". If I preview the file in VS2010 the file looks fine. It is a variable column file, meaning the last 4 columns are optional, but this didn't cause an issue with SQL Server 2005. Has anyone else seen this issue? Thanks.
