We moved from 2005 to 2014 AG (currently doing shake out) and we have a service broker(3 services) in the database. Previously there were no endpoints specified for the broker, so when we moved we recreates and applied the endpoints using the listener. The services appear to be running but nothing is actually happening, the only error we are receiving is:
Length specified in network packet payload did not match number of bytes read; the connection has been closed. Please contact the vendor of the client library. [CLIENT: <<SQL SERVER PRIMARY NODE IP]
We believe that the service Broker is the cause of the error but we can't figure out how to narrow it down. I have been running Trace on the broker and there is nothing. This error is the only error in the event log.
I have restarted the Service Brokers and cleared the old transmission queue.
Not sure what else to do at this point. Ihave dbl checked the permissions, but the error doesn't display a login\account.
