Window Internal Database

    Hi,

    is it possible to access the Windows internal Databse from different macgine in the same domain? we can access the WID from the local server with

    \\.\pipe\MICROSOFT##WID\tsql\query

    but right now we can not access that server locally, We have SQL 2014 on a different server we did try \\servername\pipe\MICROSOFT##WID\tsql\query but it dont work,

    I was wondering if it is possible?

    we have a Database in the SQL inctence that is hung in recovery mode and we want to correct this, but we cannot access the server with RDP and server itself is in a datacenter.

    Any help would be appereciated.

    I find out it is not possible to access the WID from remote location.
