I just installed this and the scripts are not displaying properly in the browser portion of SSMS. The single quote displays as '. Is there a setting somewhere in the options that needs to be configured?

It shouldn't be an issue, but I'll have to check. This is a bit old and I'm not sure the last time it was updated.

I am not sure exactly what SSMS Add-In you are speaking of. Can you give the exact full name and/or company/developer and/or a URL for it? Maybe a screenshot that shows what you are seeing and a description of what you expected to see?

You can see it on the SSC site. Click on Scripts in the menu on the left and at the top of the page There is a message for it

This was a side project from one of our developers and gets access to scripts (your saved ones and all others) from inside SSMS. The dev is out of town this week, but sent him a note.

I am traveling and cannot take the risk of installing the SSMS Addin at the moment.
OP:
I would still like to see a screenshot and text version of what you expected to see.
Also please verify you have the latest version (sometimes I download tools/apps and don't install them for months). 🙂
What is your SSMS version and build and is it patched up to the latest build for it?
Lastly I would try the old uninstall/reinstall default action. :w00t:

The SQL Scripts addin won't install if you are running SSMS 2016. Presumably that version isn't included in its known versions list.

Trying to get someone to look at this, but it's a free tool and we have busy developers. Alternatively, I may try to get this open sourced. However, the add-in program changed for SSMS 16, with a new shell (VS2015). Not sure how this changes the usefulness of this code.
