    Job Description.

    You'll work with our business leaders, Corporate & IT Supergroups, and clients to provide a future vision that will improve the depth of travel data by expanding the current business intelligence and data capture ranges we have today. Leading a team of data specialists, the role will constantly improve data quality globally and achieve internal and external key performance indicators globally.

    This position is responsible for all aspects of corporate global customer data, including the strategic direction and operations of all travel management data collection and audit. Travel data is one of the core components we offer our clients and involves the collection and consolidation of two data streams; live reservation data via the GDS and invoiced data capture from mid/back office platforms. The two data streams are then used for internal reporting, client facing reporting and export to third party providers.

    Responsibilities of this role include:

    Managing project plans

    Tracking progress of business standards

    Overseeing testing

    Meeting agreed deadlines for deployments and implementations

    Prioritising ongoing workload requests

    Managing vendor contracts which support our business with the production and housing of travel data

    Pre/post sales support liaising with the key global clients, Sales, Account Management and Technology leaders as required

    Developing strategic visions for data management related products

    Managing a team of direct reports

    The Successful Applicant

    In order to be successful, you will have:

    Business Travel experience in solution/vendor management

    Experience in Travel Data Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Data Management Technology

    Experience with multiple development life cycle methodologies

    Detail driven - with the ability to consult and understand extensive data sets, data process flows and data warehouse standards

    Knowledge of global travel distribution systems, IT systems and related processes
