SQL Server application error from ntdll.dll (exception code 0xc0000374)

  • Today our live SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition (64-bit) instance restarted itself at 11:02 after an apparent crash at 11:01. The SQL Server Error Log does not provide much information, other than to show the SQL Server service apparently restarting and the databases all starting up, etc.

Can anyone please suggest as to how we can establish the cause of this crash? Further details below:

  • Same problem here. Same exact faulting module, exception code, and offset. I checked the technet article referenced and it does not apply (we are not using linked servers to Oracle). Did anyone find a solution to this?

We are running SQL 2012 SP1. The server that keeps crashing is an Always On asynchronous secondary replica in a remote DR data center.
