I have configured always on in one of my server , I need to add a data file to a database which is on AG group how can we add the file

Do the data file locations on the primary and secondary(s) match?

Yes .. the drives are same in both the servers

We configured mdf's in K drive and .ldf's in L drive existing in both the nodes ..

The paths are also same
k:\data
l:\data

Then there should be no failed create file operations
